What is vinyl plank flooring?

Vinyl flooring is similar to laminate flooring. Because it is manufactured in layers, however, its structure is very different. This floor is flexible since it is made of plastic materials.

Benefits
Vinyl flooring does not stick to the floor. They are pieces that are joined together and become a floating floor. Their appearance is natural. It can imitate wood styles from oak to walnut. Also, it has other styles such as aged or worn.



Vinyl Flooring has four layers namely:

• The top layer (1):
It is made of aluminum oxide. It protects the floor from scratches and scrapes.

• Wear layer (2):
It is a transparent layer that protects the floor from tears. It is located between the top layer and the design layer.

• Design layer (3): It is the layer where the styles and designs of the floor are printed. It is the one that allows the appearance of the vinyl flooring. Either wood or stone

• The support layer (4, 5, and 6): It is a thick layer that provides stability and rigidity to the ground. It is made of vinyl, a rigid material. Ninety percent of the thickness of the floor is due to this layer.
